Hello Class and Professor,
I hope you all are doing well and enjoying this beautiful weather that we are having. Welcome to my blog page :) I am NEW to this whole BLOG thing, and in all honesty I have no idea what I am doing and this is bringing me anxiety because I am unsure as to if I am doing any of this correctly...but hopefully I am not alone in feeling this way.
My experience with the relaxation went well. I believe that it came at a perfect time, as I was feeling So anxious and up tight that I thought I was on the verge of having an anxiety attack as I have been overwelmed with writing papers and studying all weekend. So, this exercise could not have come at a more perfect time. I was able to slow my breathing and clear my thoughts which was exactly what i needed. I needed someone to give me the permission to stop, breathe and calm down and that is what that exercise did. So, perhaps we could do more? :)

ReplyDeleteI am new to blogging too. The hardest part has been navigating the site - still figuring it out. I enjoyed the relaxation exercise too. I find I would prefer to do cardiovascular exercise when I feel anxious because it calms my mind better. I think we're all different and one method does not work for the same for everyone.

ReplyDeleteI have to share that I had a difficult time creating my blog initially. I actually created 2 blogs however the professor was able to show me how to delete one. Now I am not certain that people can actually see my blog. Cynthia mentioned on our BlogDB she commented on mine however I do not see it. So needless to say this creating a little anxiety for me. The relaxation exercise was right on time for me as well.

You are definitely not alone honey. I have no clue what I am doing with this blog thing but it seems we are doing ok! I can relate to your anxiety and all with everything that we have to do. I have been physically ill since Saturday and I just can't shake it. I do believe its related to how much I have to do in my life. Anyway I enjoyed your post and can't wait to read more. thank you!
